Exciting News. The Waymarker team are so proud to have our delicious Sunday Roast, which lots of you know and love, recognised by a national publication amongst a fantastic selection of renowned eateries.

Considering the magazine’s readers had to choose from the best of the best from across the UK, we are pretty delighted that ours was named as one of the best in the region! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our lovely customers who took the time to vote for our Sunday Roast as their favourite!
The Waymarker was described as an “Out-of-the-way restaurant noted for puddings that are on a par with the excellent roasts,” by the Observer Food Magazine. So, for those who have yet to follow the famed Sunday Roast main course with one of our desserts, we’re here to tell you more about our finishing flourish which continues to steal the scene.
If you glance through our reviews on Tripadvisor or Facebook, you’ll notice that pudding is a top mention, and with good reason! All of our desserts and cakes are lovingly homemade and change regularly. Most importantly, our sweet treats make the most of delicious seasonal and local produce. Recent highlights include port poached pear with white chocolate and vanilla pannacotta, lemon and blueberry bread and butter pudding (don’t forget the proper Cornish clotted cream!) and cappuccino cake, a must for coffee lovers.

With the change of season looming, you can expect a whole host of new offerings on your next visit . We look forward to showcasing autumnal fruit and nuts, whether you’re looking to enjoy some homely comfort food on a chilly day, or a slice of homemade cake to accompany your coffee. Look out for our festive scone flavour if you are a cream tea connoisseur.

So remember, if you’re joining us for a Sunday Roast soon, make sure you save room for pudding!
